Warriors blast Pels, 21-0

HOMER — The Lakeside Warriors traveled to Homer Tuesday and dominated the Pelicans, 21-0.

The Warriors scored nine runs in the top of the first, three in the second, one in the third and eight in the fourth.

Cameron Corely and Luke Griffith combined to hold Homer to just one hit over the four innings.

Corely went the first two innings with no hits and two strikeouts and Griffith allowed one hit and struck out four in his two innings.

Coulson White led the way at the plate for the warriors with a four-for-five day. He had three singles, a double and four RBIs.

Thomas Lambert went three-for-four with two runs batted in and Chase Woodall had two hits and two RBIs. Austin Ashley doubled and drove in two runs, Griffith had a RBI-double and Jake Gray had two singles and a RBI.

Josh Prince drove in two runs and singled, Braedon Robinson, Braydon Jones and Corely all singled and Chris Brantley and Cameron Gray both had RBI-singles.

The Warriors will host Sterlington on Thursday.
