Officials discuss levelized billing

A cold winter and higher-than-usual utility bills have prompted the City of Minden to look into levelized billing for its consumers.

Members of the council, along with Mayor Tommy Davis, City Clerk Michael Fluhr and some concerned citizens talked in a workshop Tuesday about different ways to average bills and which is most feasible for Minden.
