Proceeds to help purchase prosthesis

A Savage 11 Hunter XP 243 with a 3-9x40 Bushnell Scope will be raffled on April 20 to benifit Byron Burham.

Burham was traveling to work on his motorcycle on May 12, 2012, when a car topped the hill in his lane, and hit him. Twelve surgeries were needed to save his leg.

On March 20, 2013 Burham fell in his home, tearing ligaments from the bone and ripping his knee apart.

As a result, doctors had to amputate his leg from the knee down. Burham had many blood transfusions because his blood count was down, and he is now home recovering.

Donations are being sought to help pay for Burham's prosthesis and therapy.

For more information or to purchase tickets, which cost $5 each, contact Allison or Cody Dillon at 433-0863 or 617-4443.

Tickets can be purchased at Gibsland Bank and Trust (GBT) on Homer Rd. or at Hill Oil in Homer.
