One House at a Time

Third annual Legacy Build kicks off in Minden

The sounds of pounding hammers echoed throughout the neighborhood as the walls of eight new homes began to go up on Millard Fuller Drive, the site of the 3rd Annual Millard Fuller Legacy Build.

With literal signs of encouraging words, such as, "We must become the change we want to see," scattered throughout the site and more than 300 volunteers from around the United States working together, 70-year-old Linda Fuller Degelmann, widow of Millard Fuller, stopped her work to reflect on how all of this began.
