Fifty years at the Camp

Fifty years at the Camp

Wednesday, October 26 marked the culmination of Al Smith's 50th year at the facility now known as Camp Minden. Smith has held nine jobs with four employers there since 1961.

"It is not often that we get a chance to recognize someone who has spent 50 years of his life working at the same location," Camp Minden Commander Col. Ronnie Stuckey said.
