Funeral services for Mrs. Lula B. "Lou" Jones, 72, will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church, Taylor, Arkansas with Bro. Vernon Lee officiating and Bro. Randy Wilson assisting.
Interment will follow in Taylor Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill.
Visitation will be held today (Friday) from 6 until 8 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Taylor.
Mrs. Jones, the youngest of 13 children, was born June 4, 1939 in Taylor to Early R. and Ivy Keeton Harvey and passed away Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011 in Springhill. She was a resident of Taylor, and a member of Taylor First Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones went to work for Citizens Bank and Trust, September 1972 and finally retired December 2010.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Thomas "Clell" Jones of Taylor; son, Jeffrey W. Jones and wife, Ginger of Taylor; five grandchildren, Laci Lobbs, Joshua Jones, Caleb Jones, Justin Jones and Presley Jones; three great-grandchildren, Cody, Hunter and Thomas; sisters, Bertha Wallace of Atlanta, Texas and Maude Jennings of Taylor; brother, George Harvey and wife, Myra Jane of Taylor, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents; son, Raymond Alan Jones, five brothers; and four sisters.
Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Foster, Russ Campbell, Bruce Hoyle, Scott Hoyle, Todd Winkler and Tim Crews.
