Funeral services for Jennifer Jane Eason McLain, 51, were held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012) in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Carroll officiating.
Burial followed in Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill.
Visitation was held from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Bailey Funeral Home.
Jennifer was born Jan. 24, 1961 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Thomas Franklin and Nancy Wallace Eason and died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 in Greenwood.
She was a former resident of Springhill and had made her home in Greenwood the last eight years. She was a member of the Baptist faith, a graduate of Bradley High School, class of 1979 and from SAU in Magnolia, class of 1987. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at Willis Knighton Pierremont.
She is survived by her daughters, Bridgett Smith Hampton and husband, Allen of Stamps, Arkansas and Samantha Jean McLain of Greenwood; grandson, Joey Hampton; her mother, Nancy Wallace Eason of Springhill; brothers, Tommy Eason and wife, Connie of Magnolia, Arkansas, Brian Eason and wife, Tonya of Natchez, Mississippi and Jesse Eason and wife, Vonda of Sarepta; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Franklin Eason, Sr., sister, Susan Eason; niece, Lori Lea Jeter; and nephew, Thomas Coleman Eason.
Serving as pallbearers were a group of her very close friends.
