Apaches beat Mustangs

The Glenbrook Apaches took a 1-0 lead in their second round MAIS playoff, as a late Connor Copeland home run broke a late tie and gave the Apaches a 4-3 win.
The Apaches will now travel to Cleveland, Mississippi for Game Game 2, and Game 3 if necessary, on Friday.

"Connor had the big hit of the game," Glenbrook coach Jonathan Hardy said. "That home run put us up for good. Overall, I thought we played really well. We played better defensively than we had been playing, and we did what we had to do against a really tough team."
