A Minden woman wreaked havoc on her estranged husband's residence, his uncle and two vehicles, initiating her arrest.
Ashley Nell Kennedy, 28, of the 1100 block of Beech Street, was jailed in Bossier City on charges of simple burglary, hit and run, criminal property damage, aggravated battery and flight from an officer.
The incident took place in the 1900 block of Rossie Lee Drive, Bossier City on Sunday when Kennedy illegally entered the residence of her estranged husband by breaking a window and opening the front door.
According to reports, she then proceeded to break other windows in the home. Her husband was at home at the time.
Kennedy reportedly got into her car and back into a parked vehicle. She then drove her vehicle into the outside stairs of the mobile home where her husband was standing.
Police reports showed he jumped out of the way and was uninjured. She then drove on and hit her husband's uncle who was standing outside the home. He sustained minor injuries and was later transported by Bossier City Fire Department to a local hospital for treatment.
Kennedy then reportedly drove off but not before sideswiping the car she had initially backed into. Police were able to locate Kennedy in her car, a green Dodge Neon, driving north on Barksdale Boulevard, but she sped away from the officers and headed north onto Airline Drive to Old Minden Road where officers caught up with her.
Officers removed Kennedy from the car but she left it in gear, causing the car to roll forward at low speed and hit one of the responding patrol cars causing minor damage. No officers were hurt.
