PLAIN DEALING - The Lakeside Warriors got on a bus and made the hour-long trip over to Plain Dealing for a matchup of early season unbeatens. The Warriors played hard for 48 minutes but couldn't overcome misfortune or a pair of quick touchdowns from the opposition, losing 48-12.
"They opened with back to back onside kicks and recovered them both," Lakeside head coach Joey Pesses said. "Both times we had guys in position but the ball took a wild bounce each time. That's why it's a part of their game. You can't prepare for the bounce of the football."
