Sex offenders go on display in schools

A major change in the way sex offenders' names and photographs are posted in Webster Parish schools is being introduced and the new procedure is designed to give students a closer look at offenders who could pose a threat to kids.

Superintendent of Webster Parish Schools Dr. Dan Rawls said larger photos of registered sex offenders will now be displayed in a prominent, highly visible area which is accessible to the largest number of students.
