Earnestine Ary Moore was born May 20, 1939 to Ozell Howard and Watkin Ary. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, George and Ozell Hall in Dubberly.
She attended Central High School and was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. She later married Raymond Moore, Jr. and moved to Dallas, Texas. While in Dallas she was a member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church under the leadership of Elder Harold Smith. Later in life she returned to Dubberly and lived her remaining years there.
Earnestine was married to Raymond Moore, Jr. for 52 years, until he preceded her in death January 2011.
Earnestine departed this life on June 22, 2012 at Minden Medical Center in company of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Watkin Ary, Sr., Ozell Hall and George Hall; her sister, Maxine Calloway and brother, Watkin Ary, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory four brothers, Jesse Ary, Pervis Ary, Edgar Ary and James Ary; one sister, Martha Ary; three nieces, Gracie Harris, Lisa Calloway and Jacqueline Calloway; one nephew, Randy Cunningham; and a host of loving relatives and never-ending friends.
Visitation will be Friday, June 29 in the chapel of Kennon's Mortuary from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. with family hour from 6 until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 30, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church with Pastor Samuel Orange officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetary.
