Glenbrook tops Riverfield

The Glenbrook Lady Apaches opened up their 2013 District softball schedule with a 4-0 shut out over Riverfield on Monday.

"I was pleased with our intensity," Lady Apache head coach Jonathan Hardy said. "We haven't been playing great ball lately, but with this being our first district game, the girls really put it all together. We had pitching, defense and hitting. We just need to keep up that intensity and playing hard every chance we get."
