Continuing in their quest to stop drug dealers, Webster Parish Sheriff's narcotics officers have arrested a Cotton Valley man for distribution.
Benjamin Standokes, 41, of the 300 block of Lewis Loop, Cotton Valley, is charged with two counts of distribution of CDS Sch. I (marijuana) and one count of distribution of CDS Sch. III (Lortab).
Chief Deputy Bobby Igo, Jr. said narcotics deputies Bobby Igo, III and Joel Thomas took Standokes into custody at a local welding business.
He was transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center under bonds totalling $80,000.
"We want residents to know we are watching these dealers in all areas of the parish ... not just the south end," Igo said.
Over the past month, WPSO narcotics agents have arrested two additional "major players" – one from Dubberly and one from Doyline – on distribution charges.
