McEachern001Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Cobb McEachern, 100, will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church, Springhill, with Rev. Ronald Morgan officiating.

Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, from noon until service time at the church.

Mrs. McEachern was born August 8, 1912 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Azariah and Eula Meek Cobb and passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Many. She was a lifelong resident of this area, having moved to Many in 2007, was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Springhill, a gifted homemaker and talented seamstress.

She is survived by her daughter, Eulalia "Eukie" Jackson and husband, Corley of Robeline; sons, James McEachern and wife, Beth of Shreveport and John McEachern and wife, Sister of Springhill; eight grandchildren, Michael McEachern, Lee Anne Wallbaum and husband, Billy, Robert McEachern, Paul McEachern and wife, Susan, Garrett McEachern and wife, Kelly, Lesley Thompson and husband, Joe, Virgil Jackson and wife, Nikki and Curtis Jackson and wife, Candace; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McEachern was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Flournoy McEachern; one sister; and three brothers.

The family would like to express appreciation to Bro. George Truetlein and Bro. Ray and Mary Dyess for their many visits to our Mother.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
