Later this week, Gov. Bobby Jindal will unveil a proposed budget for the 2014-2015 fiscal year.

Jindal's spending plan of more than $25 billion will include some "investments," or increased spending on areas of government that your average person on the street would deem tolerable. At least that's how one Jindal confidante described the proposed budget earlier this week.
