It is through the Son, at the cost of his own blood, that we are redeemed, freely forgiven through that full and generous grace which has overflowed into our lives and opened our eyes to the truth. For God had allowed us to know the secret of his plan, and it is this: he purposes in his sovereign will that all human history shall be consummated in Christ, that everything that exists in Heaven or earth shall find its perfection and fulfilment in him. And here is the staggering thing—that in all which will one day belong to him we have been promised a share. Ephesians 1:7-11 PHILLIPS (I usually use the KJV, but this translation shows the meaning of this passage very well.)
God has allowed us to know his plan. His plan is that everyone should be in Christ. He wants us to be perfected in Christ. God told us His will. He told us what he wants. He wants us all to come to him. He wants everything to be for HIM! What is his will? 2 Peter 3:9 KJV says The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.God's plan is for us all to come to repentance.
However, it takes work on our part for this to happen. God forgives us. Theblood of Jesus redeems us. God showed us the truth. However, for others to experience this plan, we must be the vessels God uses for His plan. He promised us a part in His plan. His plan is a great soul harvest of people coming to repentance and coming to know Christ as their God. However, this requires people willing to pray for the plan and willing to work for the plan, willing to labor.
Matthew 9:37-38 tells us Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
