Clarification

In the Thursday, August 30 edition, the Minden Press-Herald reported that Webster Parish Superintendent of Schools Steve Dozier recommended the school system look into obtaining unitary status, a move which would mean the system could operate without federal oversight. However, Dozier only brought the issue to the table for the school board to consider and did not recommend they adopt the status.
