Substitute teacher training course scheduled

Some new ground will be plowed for the Webster Parish school system tomroow, when a group of stand-ins get together for the inaugural substitute teacher training course.

"In the past we've never had training for our subs, we just finger printed them and sent them on their way," Charlotte Dean, interim personnel director for the school system, said. "We had a group of teachers who met earlier in the year and they voiced concerns about some issues we had last year."
