Good news for Lake Bistineau

The battle against Giant Salvinia continues and much progress has been made! Encouraging news was received from one Lake Bistineau resident saying "thank you and your staff for the good work you are doing on Lake Bistineau. My family and other families were able to enjoy the lake over Father's Day weekend for the first time in 2 years, with no Salvinia in sight".

Evan Thames, Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries, has done an excellent job with spraying crews and targeting key areas within the lake.
