Some Dubberly residents may lose natural gas services

DUBBERLY — Jim Wall's Nursery Road home is surrounded by natural gas lines. But unless an agreement can be reached to tie his and 11 other homes into those nearby existing lines, Wall and the others will have to pay to convert their homes to propane.

About a month ago, nearly 40 residents on a gas line owned by Boardwalk (Gulfsouth) and supplied by Atlas were notified via letters taped to their doors that the companies were abandoning the line, leaving them without natural gas as of May 1.
