Diamond Divs, Rebels get softball wins

Results from Monday night's little league softball action at the Minden Recreation Complex.


Dragonflys 13, Cooksey's 2

Christian Moore and mary Ashton Franks both singled and homered to lead the Dragonflys.

Kacee Nixon, Natalie Jumper, Laney Taylor, Alivia McKenzie, Skye McKenzie, Sarah Parnell and Miranda Crabtree all had two hits. Emma Greer, kendall Lynn, Emily Watson and Felicity Cooper all added base hits.

Treylin Cleveland, Kasey Sullivan and Kaylie nelson all had two hits each to lead Cooksey's. Jadan Gray tripled and Tommy Clayton singled.

Mini Divas 15, Bell Construction 3

Hannah Mosley, Emma Earnhardt, Lydia Cox, Camille Marvin, Alex Reynolds, Lauren Gaddy, Bailey Paul, Evelyn Butler and Molly Fowler all had two hits to lead the Divas. Riley Young tripled and Sydney Robinson doubled.

Savannah Wilson tripled and Camille Simonton doubled to lead Bell. Hollan haynes, Lauren Still and Lizzie Tuttle all added singles.


Hummingbirds 4, Easley Fine Arts 1

Ja'Mya Robinson, Sarah Dodd and Juliet Moorman all had two hits to lead the Hummingbirds. LaJayla Thornton, Erin Lee, Nancy Silva, Halie Cross and Madison Pye all added base hits.

Katelyn Langford singled for Easley's.

Diamond Divas 8, CJ's Diner 4

Emma Mayfield and Kannon Butler both tripled to lead the Divas. Gracie Milam and Sara Cox both had two hits and Kara Bryce, Aubrie Dickson, Alyssa Martin, Baylee Hough, Faith Earnhardt, Emily Self and Abigail Johnson all added hits.

Trinity Cooper, Lexi McKenzie and Kassidy Giddens all had two hits to lead CJ's. Kelsey Giddens and SaAmbra Hadnot added singles.


Subway 6, O'Shea 3

Sha'tera Batton singled and homered to lead Subway. Shatoski Mitchell and Caitlyn Scott both singled.

Taylor Corbit singled and struck out four batters for O'Shea.

Spurlock Eye Care 24, Castor 5

Chelsea Cummings and Hannah Sullivan combined to throw a no-hitter for Eye Care. Sullivan and Kirsten Crawford both singled.


Rebels 13, VPW 10

Libby Warren, Jaylee Riggs and Kinsey Wiggins combined to throw a no-hitter for the Rebels. Warren singled and struck out seven batters, and Wiggins and Anne Durr both had two doubles. Anna Wimberly added a double.

Stormie Johnson struck out four batters for VPW.

38 Reasons 9, Minden HomeCare 2

Tyia Green singled and homered and Mariah Washington homered to lead 38 Reasons. Kayla Cage, Chelsey Scott and Kaitlyn Dixon all had two hits,a nd Madison Rawls and Lakeia Lyles added base hits. Cage also struck out nine batters.

Sunni Wilson doubled and Courtney Machen singled for HomeCare.
