Apaches bounce back with blowout win over Amite, 52-14

The Glenbrook Apaches bounced back from their two-game losing streak to beat the Amite School Rebels, 52-14 friday night at Apache Stadium.

"I was very pleased with the kids and the win," Glenbrook head coach Greg Tibbitt said. "We finally started clicking on offense. We had a number of big plays for scores and that led to scores, so that was very exciting for us."

The first of the big plays came on the opening kick-off as the apaches' jacob White fielded the kick, followed his blocking and then busted through the middle for an 80-yard touchdown return.
