Sales tax holiday focuses on hunting gear

Want to buy that all-terrain vehicle, hunting rifle or scope?

Next weekend might be a good time because Louisiana Department of Revenue has announced the Louisiana Second Amendment Weekend Sales Tax Holiday for Friday, September 7 until Sunday, September 9.

"We do see an increase in sales," Brad Smith, sales manager at Minden Motorsports, said. "But we are kind of new, so we are just realize the increase."
