North Webster agents bust three for distribution

tobey cannonNarcotics agents have arrested two north Webster Parish men and one from Taylor, Arkansas on drug distribution charges.

Tobey Zane Cannon, 36, of Lafayette County Road 69, Taylor, was arrested February 18 on Main Street in Springhill for distribution of CDS Sch. II methamphetamine.

According to reports, Cannon was arrested after he was seen driving west bound on Hwy. 157.

Springhill Police Chief Will Lynd made the arrest, assisted by Det. Ronald Wedgeworth and Sgt. Sal Gonzalez.

Cannon was booked at Springhill Police Department and transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center where he is held on a $50,000 bond.

Terry C. Neal, (aka Cut Throat), 49, of Shady Oak Drive, Springhill, was arrested for distribution of CDS Sch. II crack cocaine.

He was reportedly taken into custody after he was spotted by Gonzalez on the west side of Springhill.

Wedgeworth and Webster Parish Sheriff's Lt. Shawn Baker were also involved in Neal's arrest.

He was booked and trasnported to BDCC on a task force warrant. He is being held under a $40,000 bond.

Jeb Wiley McCuen, 28, of Hwy. 371 in Sarepta, was arrested February 20 and charged with distribution of CDS Sch. II methamphetamine and on a parole violation.

According to reports, agents Wedgeworth and Baker were contacted by Probation and Parole advising they had picked up McCuen on a probation warrant.

Narcotics agents had one active warrant on McCuen for distribution of methamphetamine.

He was transported to the Springhill Police Department and transported to BDCC. He is being held under a $40,000 bond and a Probation and Parole hold.
