Rogers Crow was born July 25, 1933 to the late Auther Crow and Bertha Mack Crow of Claiborne Parish (Red Hill). He was the youngest of three children.
He was united in marriage to Eula Mae Lewis. To that union, four girls were born. In his early days, he worked at Gifford Hill. Later on in his life, he hauled pulpwood and then went on to haul logs. He owned his own trucks. He also loved to hunt wildlife. He liked to watch sports – especially football. He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
He rededicated his life to the Lord at Long Springs Church of God in Christ in the early 2000’s. He participated in many activities in the nursing home. He was a big and gentle man, always with a smile on his face.
Preceding him in death were his father; mother; brother, Robert Crow (Bluche); sister, Dressie Banks; and son, Raymond Tate.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Eula Crow; four daughters, Pamela Dowell (Donnie), Cassandra Eason (Willie), Donna Crow and Rosalind Day (Elton); son, Vincent Tate; special step-son, Billy Tate; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.Subscribe to Read!
