Minden High to face Benton next
 
The Minden Crimson Tide had to go an extra inning to beat St. Augustine on Friday in their opening round playoff game of the LHSAA Class 4A playoffs, and they did that in dramatic fashion as Carson Bolyer drove in Turner Francis with a single in the bottom of the eighth for a 2-1 walk-off win.
 
The Tide (21-10) will now face fifth-seeded Benton High School at Benton on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
