The City of Minden will move into the 2011-2012 fiscal year with a budget of just over $33 million.
Following a public hearing Tuesday, just prior to the regular meeting of the Minden City Council, council members voted unanimously – with all members present except District B Councilwoman Fayrine Kennon-Gilbert – to approve the budget which shows a shortfall of around $499,000.
