Lions Club hosts first forum

Election season will kick into high gear beginning Thursday with the first of several political forums scheduled for the four candidates vying to become the next State Representative for District 10.

Thursday's forum will be sponsored by the Minden Lions Club. The event will be held at noon in the American Legion Hall on Pine Street.

"Each candidate will have five minutes to present themselves and their platform to the Lions," event organizer and long-time Lions Club member Lee Estabrook said. "When all have spoken, the floor will be opened for questions. Questions can be directed to any or all the candidates for an answer."
