Apaches ambush Rebels, 45-21

COUSHATTA—The Glenbrook Apaches opened their 2012 season with a 45-12 win over the Riverdale Raiders Friday night.

Although new Apache head coach Greg Tibbitt was happy with his first win at the school, as most coaches, he wasn't completely happy.

"It wasn't pretty at times, but a win is a win," he said. "I don't think we really got into a rhythm all night. I understand it's early and the offense is new to the kids, but we want to go a lot faster than we did Friday night. But I know it's going to take a little time to get there."
