Krewe is featured business

The Springhill-North Webster Chamber of Commerce has chosen the Krewe of Artemis-Springhill as the featured business of the month for March.

The Krewe of Artemis-Springhill was started in the summer of 2002 when five people were sitting around dreaming of how to bring Mardi Gras to the Springhill area. There has been a Springhill Main Street Mardi Gras Parade since 2000 and this small group was looking for ideas to increase publicity and spark interest in the community. They took their thoughts to the volunteers who had worked on the parade and the rest is history.
