Shooting marks Webster's first homicide

Webster Parish investigators are looking into the parish's first reported homicide of 2014 after the discovery of a man's body in a wooded area off Walter Lyons Road.

Sheriff Gary Sexton said the body of 18-year-old Minden resident Omar Lott, was found Wednesday around 2 p.m. by a family member. Initial interviews indicate the family had been looking for Lott since sometime Sunday evening, Sexton said.
