Persistence in Prayer: The Principle

"And I say to you, ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it shall be opened." Luke 11:9-10 NASB

The word translated "ask" means to ask and keep on asking. "Seek" means to seek and keep on seeking, and "knock" means to knock and keep on knocking.
