Minden to play at Northwood tonight

The Webster Parish baseball teams are facing a busy week of games. All the parish teams play at least twice, with Doyline playing three times and Lakeside four.

Here's a brief look at all the parish baseball games scheduled for this week.

Minden High

The Crimson Tide will have a busy week this week with five ball games.

Today they will head to Shreveport to take on the Northwood Falcons.

Thursday will be the first of two double headers this week for the Tide. Fair Park will come to Griffith Stadium for a district double header, and then on Saturday, Minden will host Woodlawn for another district double dip.


The Lakeside Warriors will play three games this week.

Today they will travel to Homer for a 6 p.m. game and then will host Sterlington on Thursday.

Saturday they will play at Haynesville at 1 p.m..


The Glenbrook Apaches are 17-4 as they head into their last week of their regular schedule.

Today they will travel to UCA for jv and varsity games beginning at 4 p.m.

Friday, they will host Franklin as they hold their Annual Senior Night. Then on Saturday they will host River Oaks in a varsity game at 3 p.m.


The Doyline Panthers have a busy week scheduled with three games, two at home and one on the road.

Today (vs. Castor) and Thursday (vs. Quitman) they will play at home, and then on Saturday they will play at Farmerville.

North Webster

The North Webster Knights will play at North Caddo today and at Taylor, Arkansas on Thursday, before returning home to host Loyola at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
