Minden ready to flip switch

Minden will light up during Friday's "Grand Illumination," when the switch is flipped on thousands of Christmas lights.

Simultaneously, the Fasching Fifth Season kicks off with an "Art Stroll on Main Street" Friday, November 9 where music and art will be downtown from 5 until 8 p.m.
