Daughter who had Carolyn Hite committed facing numerous charges
When Carolyn Hite learned her daughter is in jail, she didn’t react as one might expect.
“Good,” said the 82-year-old woman. “Now, maybe she’ll see how it feels to be locked up.”
Hite has been in a prison of sorts since March when her daughter, 62-year-old Mary Tonia Hanson of Springhill, had her committed to a nursing home with no money, one change of clothing and no way to leave the premises.
