Police arrest tidy trespasser

A local woman allegedly has been illegally entering the Presbyterian Church manse (pastor's residence) at 1200 Broadway and making herself at home, and investigators say that includes cleaning the house and doing yard work.

"The pastor of the church is at the residence on weekends and that is the only time he is there," Minden Chief of Police Steve Cropper said. "He told us when he arrived at the manse on July 5, the woman was weeding grass in the front flower bed. He thought the church had hired her to do yard work, but they had not."
