Rain that showered the area Monday afternoon caused local streets – including Miller Road (off U.S. Hwy. 79) – to become slick and may have played a role in causing a red, single cab pick-up truck to roll over in a ditch. A Webster Parish Sheriff's deputy and Pafford EMS responded to the accident. The driver was reportedly not injured and walked away from the scene.
