Lott hopes to retain school board seat

Jerry Lott, current school board member in District II, announced that he will be a candidate for this seat again in the November 2014 election. District II includes the southeast corner of Webster Parish, home to both Lakeside Jr./Sr. High School and Central Elementary.

"I appreciate the encouragement of community leaders, parents and school officials to seek re-election," Lott said. "It has been an honor and privilege to represent the fine people in District II. I have prayed about this decision and feel prepared to serve another term."
