Police Jury lowers Lake Road speed limit

In an effort to keep motorists safe and prolong the life of a parish throughway, police jurors approved a lower speed limit for one Webster Parish road Tuesday.

Lake Road off U.S. Highway 371 between Sibley and Heflin will be 45 miles per hour for its entire five miles once signs are installed this week declaring such.
