West Monroe police chief heads to Florida

WEST MONROE (AP) — West Monroe Police Chief Christopher Elg has accepted a similar position with the police department in Tequesta, Florida.

Cpl. J.P. Gabb tells The News-Star Elg will remain as West Monroe's chief until January 5 and will take over as chief in Tequesta on February 4.
