BOSSIER — The North Webster Knights and Lady Knights split a pair of first-round games in the Doc Edwards Tournament at Airline High School.
The Knights beat Huntington, 81-68, and the Lady Knights fell to Benton, 65-36.
The Knights jumped out on the Raiders, 26-14, in the first quarter, fell behind and then came back in the end for the win.
Huntington out-scored North Webster, 16-11 in the second quarter to cut the lead to seven points (37-30) at the half.
Huntington took a 53-52 into the fourth quarter, but the Knights out-scored them 29-15 the rest of the way to get the win.
Lyntravious Gipson led the Knights with 28 points and Mantavious Smith added 20. Legabriel Norton had 13 and Devin Smith 11.
The Lady Knights fell behind early (23-4 in the first quarter) and never could recover, losing to Benton, 65-36.
Icesses Miller led the Lady Knights with 10 points.
