Patricia Ann Walker, 68, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011 in Arlington, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Catholic Church of St. Mary the Virgin, 1408 North Davis Drive, Arlington with Father Gerard Mary Anyanwu officiating. Interment will follow at noon at Emerald Hills Memorial Park, Kennedale.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 until 6 p.m. with a rosary beginning at 5 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Divine Face Organization, PO Box 171343, Arlington, TX 76003.
Patricia was born on Oct. 27, 1942 in Minden to Wesley Hale and Louise Cummings Hale. She was a 16-year resident of Houston prior to moving to Arlington in 1989.
She was a dedicated choir member since high school; a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution; chairman of the Divine Face Organization; and a professed Third Order Carmelite with the St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross Lay Carmelite Community of Fort Worth.
Patricia was devoted to seeking the face of God in prayer, finding Christ in community, and serving our brothers and sisters in need. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother.
Survivors include her husband, Myron Walker; daughters, Lisa Callahan and husband, Christopher, Amy Vitacca and husband, John and Jennifer Bourgeois and husband, Joshua; brother, Robert Hale and wife, Henri; grandchildren, Travis Roach, Michael and Matthew Vitacca, Emma Grace, Ethan and Elizabeth Bourgeois; and niece, Anne Wesley Hale.Subscribe to Read!
