Minden High falls to West Ouachita

WEST MONROE — The West Ouachita Chiefs used a bruising running attack and a stiff defense to send the Minden Crimson Tide to 0-2 on the year, leaving the Tide rubbing their head and wondering how to get their offense cranked up. Minden's lone touchdown of the game came on a 37 yard interception return by Carson Bolyer to make the final score 33-6.

The Chiefs used a two back attack, and were able to amass 195 yards on 50 rushing attempts, averaging almost four yards per carry. On the opposite side of the ball, the Tide was only able to pick up 30 yards of total offense for the game.
