A celebration of the life of Jesalea Aken Wallace will be held today (Monday, Oct. 24, 2011) at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church of Cotton Valley. Visitation was held from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, October 23 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Jesalea was born July 20, 1921 in Rotan, Fisher County, Texas to Joseph David Aken and Lula Dudney Kendrick Aken. She died Oct. 21, 2011 at Willow Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Arcadia.
