It is truly a delight to watch profoundly depressed people leave their depression behind as they utilize God's simple healing remedies – adequate rest, plenty of water, sunlight, exercise, healthy plant-based nutrition, etc. There is, however, another essential component for this healing to take place. You see, our thoughts are the source of our emotions or feelings which in turn affect our actions. Though I may be experiencing the most depressing of situations, if my thoughts are continually focused on those negative, oppressive themes, not only will that solve nothing, but feelings of depression will be an inevitable result.
