"Angels Among Us" is a series of original paintings by Chris Broussard with hands-on embellishments by art students at The Children's Center.
"'Angels Among Us' is a painted tribute to the brave young souls whose fight to live still give hope to many," Broussard said. "The young artists at The Children's Center placed their little hands upon the Angels giving life to paintings dedicated to all those who called upon St. Jude."
The special project was a part of the afterschool art program under the direction of the Children's Center art teacher Leslie Coyle, and Julie Vogel, director.
All three paintings were donated by Chris Broussard to the St. Jude auction.
Those young artists contributing to the painting and donating this gift of creativity to the Minden St. Jude auction are: Emma Whyte, Gracie Purvis, Carson Parker, Claire Waites, Whit McKaste, Molly Fowler, Paige Greer, Grady Brasher, Mary Evelyn King and Hannah Frye.
More key workers on the project are Michaela Waits, Savannah Powell, Stella Powell, McKenna Edge, J.T. Edge, Jonathan Parkerson, Brelyn Jackson, Thomas Rhame and Addy Smith.
