Time to give the whisker fish another try

With the conclusion of spring squirrel season Sunday May 25, outdoorsmen and women are left with no more species to hunt until September when doves become legal fare. For most of us, it's difficult to just quit cold turkey knowing we won't be picking up a shotgun for another three months.

My good friend and fellow outdoor writer from Little Rock, AR, has a suggestion as to what we can do to fill the days and week until hunting becomes legal again. Go catfishing, he says.
