Traffic stop leads to meth bust

A malfunctioning piece of equipment on a pickup truck has led to a narcotics bust for Minden police officers and a trip to the lockup for a local man.

William R. Shuford, 54, a resident of the 100 block of Southfield, is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. He is currently being held at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
