Funeral services for Inez Rowland Landrem will be held Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden. Officiating will be Rev. Leland Crawford and Rev. Bill Crider. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012) at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Inez was born Oct. 31, 1916 in Stamps, Arkansas and went to heaven Oct. 22, 2012 in Minden. She was a member of First Baptist Church Minden, last charter member of Calvary Baptist Church, past matron of Minden Chapter 53 OES. Inez loved her grandchildren and gardening. She was a master seamstress and enjoyed people and getting to know them having been employed at Simmons Department Store and Bryan's Jewelry.
Her parents, Henry L. and Lela Rowland; husband, Alton R. Landrem; and sisters, Thelma Byars and Irene Brown preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, James Landrem and wife, Lois of River Ridge, Charles Landrem and wife, Frances of Zachary and Janis Bryan and husband, Steve of Minden; grandchildren, Terry Landrem, Tracy Moore, Kyle Landrem, Jason Landrem, Lela Lemoine and Molly Bryan; and great-grandchildren, Miles, Clay and Jeff Landrem, Mason Moore, Graham, Madison and Anna Claire Lemoine, Isabelle and Lucy Landrem and Katherine and Olivia Inez Landrem; sister, Hazel Young; and many special nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Landrem, Jason Landrem, Brian Lemoine, Graham Lemoine, Mason Moore and Terry Landrem.
